Hi Chris,
We'd preffer to be able to define the alt text as an argument in the macro like this: {gliffy:name=My Diagram|space=MySpace|page=MyPage|pageid=1234|align=left|size=L|alt="This figure shows the individual computers and the software installed on them for the multi-host deployment example."}
<img ............ alt="This figure shows the individual computers and the software installed on them for the multi-host deployment example." /> It would be nice if Gliffy would generate the alt text as you described it in cases when an explicit definition in the macro is missing. thanks! Any idea on when we could expect this fix?
Thanks. Thanks for the feedback, Igor. Shannon, please include Igor's suggestion into the feature. Please update the related documentation as well.
This should be an easy fix, and we'll try and get it into the 1.4 release. (our next release) Igor & Joe, which versions of Confluence are you running? thanks -chris We currently run Confluence 2.7.0.
Do you have any approximate date for the 1.4 release? cheers, oops.. it's actually Confluence 2.8.0 not
We don't have a set date for the release. Hopefully very soon.

Can you please implement this in the Macro?
I'm thinking that the alt text would look something like: "Gliffy Diagram titled $diagramName"
