 Description  « Hide
Customer report:
When I export (JPG) my BPMN drawing, some of the lines of the Transaction Symbol do not appear.

See attachment: Purchasing

Debi reviewed diagram, and reproduced the same error upon JPG export. (shared to gliffy account)

Notes/Tests:
Test 1: Open Diagram: Remove connecting lines and make transaction symbol larger.
Result: Lines of transaction symbol continue to not appear upon JPG export.

Test 2: Open Diagram: Drag a new, empty, transaction symbol to the drawing stage (placed below drawing). (BPMN2(7))
Result: PNG Export with all lines. (no missing lines, no error noted). (BPMN2(8))

Batik is causing this..don't know why, but seems to happen more often when certain symbols are closer together. I'm sure its also something with the way the lines are drawn in Illustrator.. if and when we redesign the BPMN symbols, one thing we could do is make the lines thicker (maybe they are drawn as hairlines, right now, which is bad because Batik has quality issue when transcoded to JPG's)

We should see if this is still an issue with viewing as SVG. This may not go away regardless for export as JPG.

The SVG export and the new published SVG (when viewed from all browsers besides IE) show the correct lines.

This problem would be solved with Client Side Transcoding for File --> Export JPG/PNG and going to SWF10 (if we want 4800 x 4800 support)
